The winter months have taken a toll on my skin (I pamper my face and neck but tend to neglect the rest of my body), so a soothing frankincense balm sounded like just want the doctor ordered. I'm already familiar with this brand, Beesaluxe is a small, woman-owned company that makes beautiful products, so I was eager to give this one a try.The jar is sealed by a foil sticker that you peel off. The texture is what a balm or salve should be. It's a bit greasy upon application, but when used on dry skin, it absorbs well after a short time. The scent is lovely - because there is no fragrance or artificial ingredients, it smells very natural. Mellow, calming, and a bit exotic. There are very few ingredients. This contains only rapeseed oil as the carrier (which is also very beneficial to the skin), beeswax, frankincense oil, vitamin E, and rosemary extract. It feels soothing on the skin. I've been using it on my hands, cuticles, decolletage, and heels, and those areas feel softer and more nourished with every use. My cuticles have been a mess and I've been getting a lot of painful hangnails, this is helping to reduce and heal those, too. The jar is small, but you only need a very little bit at a time, so I expect that it will last a good while.At only $8.95 (at the time of this review), this balm is well worth the price. If your skin has problem areas, it's a very worthy investment. I've used and loved products from small businesses that have become unavailable after a period of time, and it's always so disappointing to see. I truly hope that Beesaluxe is able to stick around, because they have several products that I now use regularly! Beesaluxe Soothalene Frankincense Balm

I love products with short ingredient lists, and this frankincense balm contains natural ingredients like rapeseed oil, beeswax, frankincense oil, Vitamin E, and rosemary extract. It has no added fragrance, but I can detect the light scent of frankincense and rosemary!I have been using this balm on my hands and feet for the last few days. I have dry, cracked skin on my hands that is a bit painful at times. It only takes a small amount of product and it melts upon contact with my skin. It surprisingly absorbs better and faster than other balms that I've tried. My skin instantly felt more hydrated, and I did find it to be soothing to my sore knuckles. I have to reapply this balm after washing my hands to keep that moisture there and have been considering using this balm as an overnight hand mask with gloves.I used this balm on my feet after showering and put socks on afterwards. A few hours later, I noticed that my feet were soft with no dry patches at all. I have also used this balm on my lips and it works amazingly well for that. I am a massage therapist and my hands are overworked. They are dried out, sore, my cuticles are rough, and my fingers are not soft. I have started rubbing this into my hands and cuticles and wow! What a difference! My skin is softer, I’m not getting so many hangnails and dried skin sloughing off, my cuticles are so much softer, and my hands don’t feel achy at the end of the day! This product has a light, gentle herbal smell. Nothing overpowering and certainly not a synthetic smell. A nice, natural smell. It soaks into you skin nicely (just don’t use too much) so I cannot go about my activities which leaving behind a residue.
