Dr. Emerald Soft Night Essential Oil Blend is another lovely product from the women-owned, Canadian small business brand, Beesaluxe. I am big fan and always excited to try new products from them! This essential oil roll-on is a lavender forward scented nighttime pure essential oil blend which helps induce calm and relaxation. In addition to the Lavender, it contains Chamomile, Marjoram, Valerian Root and Ylang Ylang in a neutral MCT carrier oil base. It's a great combination that smells truly heavenly and helps me to wind down at the end of my day. It rolls easily and thinly. It's not greasy and it absorbs quickly. A couple of swipes are really all you need to enjoy the warm, inviting fragrance of these perfectly paired essential oils.Soft Night comes in a glass vile with a plastic roller ball and is securely packed in bubble wrap. Its a small size bottle, but since you don't need to apply much, I would consider this a good value for the price. I didn't experience any redness or irritation from this product. Highly recommend! I’ve used essential oils for years, but only ever bought them from companies I trusted since there are so many shady ones out there. But I have used several Beesaluxe products and have been impressed by them all - and this Dr. Emerald aromatherapy oil is now being added to the list!The essential oils smell nice and strong, just like the other brand’s EOs I’ve used, and I really feel relaxed after rolling some of this on. Haven’t had any skin irritation either. I’d have to say this is made from quality ingredients and it’s a nice calming blend for a pretty good deal. I’ll list the ingredients below, along with what I learned about the carrier oil in this.. Whatever you do, don't rub this on your wrist and then sniff thinking that this is the scent that will last. I did and immediately thought: so this is what it smells like when lavender and ylang ylang go to war and valerian wins. So, yeah, I thought: "Yuck to the nth degree." But the longer the oil remained on my wrist, the more the scents blended into a fragrance that was warming and relaxing with lavender being predominant and sweetened gently by the ylang ylang. It truly is a very pleasant scent.And it is relaxing. I tried it in the afternoon, probably a mistake because I really don't have the time to take a nap, and kept sniffing, curious as to how the scents would blend, and it really felt sleep inducing. This is nice!I have used other products by this company and continue to be impressed. This is another winner. This Evening aroma has a nice fresh earthy scent. You can tell it is a nice blend of high quality essential oils. You get a decent amount for the price and the roll on makes it easy to apply. The scent is very strong though so if you are sensitive to scents I wouldn't use it. My wife didn't like it because it was too powerful for her.
